York Region transit workers begin walkout

The Globe and Mail

GO Transit is an inter-regional public transit system in Southern Ontario, Canada. It primarily serves the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area conurbation, with operations extending to several communities beyond the GTHA proper in the Greater Golden Horseshoe. GO carries over 57 million passengers a year, enhanced by convenient connections. York Region Transit workers began to walkout, which affected dozens of routes. Drivers walked off the job, shuttering service on five express route.

In my opinion, even though the drivers were mad. Walking off and not servicing will cause lots of problems which can't imagine. People who used to take GO Transit to work will have trouble in traveling. Economics will be affected, and also people will complain a lot to the government. As a responsible driver, he or she shouldn't put their personal business on to the society need. A society is combine with people working on different parts, missing anyone of them will collapse like a tripod.

Rejected by their mother, polar cubs now under intensive care at Toronto Zoo

Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011
Three polar bear cubs were born early Tuesday night. Their mother, Aurora who is 10-year-old, attacked them shortly after the birth. There were two cubs died from injuring by their mother. Polar bear have slow reproductive rates, which causes their birth are so precious. They were usually born between November and January.  It’s terrible to such beautiful animal suffering from their mother. Their extinction problems are all because of human wants.

We kept them in the zoo, they don’t have the freedom. Somehow, Aurora killed her own kids; maybe she didn’t want his child live in such awful life. We should protect our environment. Freedom is important to everyone. Bears, Sharks, Dogs or People.. none belong in a cage, no matter how nice and giled... The Mommy Bear killed her offspring so they could have some real freedom and peace.  I think zoos are always tough, since one side of the fence is no animals should be kept in captivity and the other is the wonder that they provide for the vast majority of us. This is inhumane.

Sep 28, 2011

Ontario Election Debate

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbZl_dz3aR8

The Ontario election debate is mainly about Health Care system, there are three sides joining the election, Tim Hudak from Progressive Conservatives, Dalton McGinty from Liberals and Andrea Horwath from New Democrat Party. Health Care is a really important events in a country, without health care, we may have danger when there are emergency accidents. Some said changing the priority and putting more investment on long term care can improve the Health Care system, instead of adding extra profit into the system. Since staying in hospital have to spend about 200 dollars. Moreover, long term care need only 160 dollars. And some said improving the health care is first priority. In my opinion, health care in a country is a safety.

If we have any trouble with our bodies, we could cure them as soon as possible. I also agree that improving health care should be first priority since many people suffer from not having immediate health support. Providing a long term care will definitely help the weak, and also help them to save money if they also feel sick for some reason. The government should also provide the best facilities to protect the citizens.
